Dear Debbie,
Now that our lives are getting back to normal after our memorable wedding at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 on February 17, 2008, I wanted to drop you a note to thank you and your band for all your attention and hard work in making this important event so “over the top”. I have received numerous phone calls and even written notes to say how much our guests enjoyed the evening, how phenomenal the music was and how beautiful you were. As you and I discussed, the music really set the tone for an amazing evening. I was always confident in your musical ability and pleased with your talent and experience to “read the crowd” that kept our guests up and moving.
It’s always nice to receive compliments on a job well done, but I am especially delighted when sophisticated and worldly guests who have attended numerous, elegant affairs and charity events raved about our choice of musicians. I know it was an eclectic choice of music that was requested so “hats off” to you and your band for pulling it all together so professionally. Everyone was happy. Thanks for holding the hands of the nervous parents and accommodating all our special requests. Ian and Elisha had their dream and their vision come true thanks to you and your part in making it happen. I can’t wait to see the video to relive that amazing evening. It was a night to remember forever.

Dear Music Associates,
We wanted to write a letter to you to absolutely praise Debbie Taylor and Standing Ovation!!! We were married on February 28th at the Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort and we could not be more thrilled! We had several different occurrences that could have upset any bride/groom. This particular evening, although the daytime was beautiful, the evening turned into a slight mini hurricane. We were supposed to be married outside but had to bring the ceremony and cocktail hour in at the last minute, with a broken chuppah. In addition, at about the first course of our meal, our photographer came up to us and asked us if he could leave. The point in telling you all of this is Debbie really saved the day for us. She had a positive attitude that was contagious. We mentioned to her about our photographer and she had a take charge attitude and made sure we did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding night. The band listened to what we wanted and played every single song we mentioned to them. We extended them a half hour but if we had them play all night long, our guests would still be there dancing away. We have been to (and will be at) so many weddings but none of their bands will compare to our band, Debbie Taylor and Standing Ovation. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us and for “making” our wedding!!!

Our daughter’s wedding was Nov 12 2005 and we are still on cloud nine! Words cannot say how fantastic Debbie and the band were! They performed all evening at the highest energy level. Dear Debbie,
Summer is over and plans are under way to lock all the details in place for next season. We’re all looking forward to next year’s “Founders Ball” on March 22, 2008! The main reason for all of our excitement is due to you and your extremely talented “Band Mates” who truly “rocked the house” at this year’s Gala. We are still receiving rave reviews from folks who’ve attended our Events for many years – all pretty much confirming that this past year was the “Best Ever.”
As you know, our donors are getting younger – at least a third at the last Ball were under 50 and they absolutely loved the event. What made it special is the fact that you pulled this off seamlessly with our Veteran Founders having an equally great time. Not an easy feat! We’ve even had compliments from people who are involved in planning Galas for other charities, saying that we’re going to be a tough act to beat…
So there’s the challenge for you. Next year will be even bigger and better! I can’t divulge our theme yet, but suffice it to say that it’s over the top and promises to be even more fun. We will have fantastic décor and excellent food again at the Intercontinental – but it just won’t be Fabulous without you and “the guys.” We’re so looking forward to having you entertain our important guests again, and in keeping with your Orchestra’s name: it will truly be a STANDING OVATION!!!

From the planning stages in the very beginning to the execution of the actual event, the performance could not have gone more smoothly, and your music selection was top notch. Debbie Taylor and Standing Ovation is one dynamic talent, and there is no way that this letter can ever contain enough thanks and praise to truly do you justice.
You had our guests entertained from the minute they arrived at 7:00 p.m. until they departed at midnight. Keeping 450 people happy for 5 hours straight, as we all know in this business, is close to impossible. Your company did this without a hitch and our guests are still talking and raving about it!

As we reflect upon Donna Klein Jewish Academy’s 17th Benefit Ball, Saturday evening, we would like to thank you for helping to make this event as successful as it was. The ball was an elegant evening and a lucrative one. Everyone had a wonderful time.
We cannot thank you enough for the role you played in creating the mood and setting the tone for the evening. Our event had a complicated program agenda. Incorporating a silent and live auction, a sit down formal dinner and a party where everyone is dancing is no small feat. You went out of your way working with the hotel and our committee, always with a smile, always pleasant, always professional. As a master of ceremonies, you were second to none. Dear Music Associates
I have now had the pleasure of having Debbie Taylor perform at 4 functions of my own (two office parties and a Bar & Bat Mitzvah for my son and daughter), and one additional function for our local dental society.
I felt the need to let you know how pleased we have been with her singing, professionalism and her overall talent.
I also must tell you, at each of the four affairs without exception, virtually anyone and everyone I spoke with did not comment on the food, nor the place, nor the drinks, but instead could not help mention how great the music was. I heard only positive comments and the highest of praise for Debbie and her singing.
Every time I have seen her, she has given “one hundred and ten percent”, and has truly had the effect of making each affair great!
In all fairness, the other musicians playing along with Debbie have also been fantastic as well.
Please know how fortunate you are to have Debbie working with you, and what a positive reflection she is on Music Associates. At this point, I plan to hire her again (and again, and would highly recommend her to any of your future would-be clients without hesitation.
